Dove Ministries International is dedicated to presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to revealing God's plan for individual members of the Body of Christ.

Minister Ordination
Home >> Churches >> Ordination

As an internationally recognized prophetic voice to The Church, Dove Ministries International seeks to provide spiritual covering and authority to men and women of like-minded faith who have demonstrated God's call upon their lives.

Dove Ministries International recognizes callings to both the Five-Fold Ministry and to the Helps Ministry.

To meet the needs of individual gifts, and to ensure the continuance of scripturally based Church Governments, Dove Ministries International recognizes four distinct ordination and licensing classes.

Ordination and Licensing Classes

Class I
Dove Ministries International calls Class I ministers "ordained" ministers. An ordained minister is one who has been set aside and consecrated by the laying on of hands of the presbytery in a public ceremony. Ordained ministers have a divine call on their lives that is recognized by Dove Ministries International.

Class II
Dove Ministries International calls Class II ministers "licensed" ministers. The purpose of a Class II license is to demonstrate the ability of an individual to work as a clergyman or an ordained minister without the "professional" appellation. A Class II minister functions on a part-time basis, and derives his income outside of the ministry.

Class IV
Dove Ministries International calls Class IV ministers "lay" ministers. Class IV credentials certify that the believer operates on a supportive level of ministerial authority, but is not called to the five-fold offices of The Church.
